The idea for RVL S.C.O.R.E. began with a quadriplegic young manís dream to walk again and his motherís determination to give him the chance. After months of frustration, financial worries and endless lobbying, CyCy Lambert founded RVL S.C.O.R.E. in March 1991 to provide complete and incomplete paraplegics and quadriplegics (like her son) with the resources necessary to maintain their independence. And in June 1991, Robbie Vierra-Lambert walked 900 feet with braces as the torch bearer for the U.S. Olympic Festival1991 Torch Run.
